Patricia C. Reilly, 87, formerly of Sayville, LI, died on Sunday, October 29, 2017, surrounded by her eight children. A resident of North Carolina for the past few years, Mrs. Reilly lived in Sayville for more than thirty years where she and her husband William raised their family.
As an advocate for special-needs, Patricia was the first president of the Women’s Auxiliary for AHRC SUFFOLK. Patricia was an avid sports enthusiast and a champion bowler. But most dear to her heart, were the times she hosted family and friends.
Predeceased by her husband William in 2005, Mrs. Reilly is survived by her eight children, Christopher and his wife Nancy of Massachusetts, Bridget Costello and her husband Michael of Mastic, James of North Carolina, William and his wife Heidi of Georgia, Siobhan Martin and her husband Todd of North Carolina, Terence and his wife Denise of Virginia, Maura and her husband Wayne Coolidge of North Carolina and Brendan and his wife Kim of Massachusetts, her 25 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, her sister, Kate Patwell, and her brother, Michael Connolly. Patricia was also predeceased by her brother, Jimmy Connolly.
Friends and relatives will gather on Thursday, November 2nd, 2-4:30 & 7-9:30 p.m. at Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 3rd at 11:15 a.m. at St. Lawrence RC Church in Sayville and interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
